Open Doors for Gospel-Spread & Church-Planting in Cambodia and Myanmar

Hello, friends and partners in the Gospel! We praise God for your ongoing partnership with Jessica and I in the spread of the Gospel. Your ongoing support empowers us to minister with faith and confidence in the Lord!

I'm writing you with a request for financial support regarding an open door for the spread of the Gospel and church-planting in Southeast Asia. During the ACC National Conference, ACCI communicated an opportunity to plant churches in Cambodia similar to the opportunity Papua New Guinea had 50+ year ago. I got the chance to meet the executive leaders of the Assemblies of God in Cambodia who were present at the conference - Ps. Chhay Tun and Ps. Kheok Srin. They have invited me to see the work of the AOG in Cambodia and have suggested that late June is the best time to travel. From this exposure trip, we can pray and make informed decisions on how to partner together in church-planting.

A few weeks ago, I also had the opportunity to meet Ps. Peter Thang Pi, a pastor in Myanmar who preached at AMM and is based in Yangon City. He shared with me the great needs of the church in Myanmar in relation to the nation’s ongoing internal conflict. He also invited me to visit the country and see firsthand the work of the Lord in Myanmar.

I have said yes to these invitations and my airfares are booked, and now I am asking ministry friends and partners (outside of Alabaster Church) for financial support. I intend to pay for all my airfares and accommodation for this trip through personal fundraising. Ministry friends have already started giving or have pledged to give. For the sake of accountability, I am directing all donations to the Alabaster Church/Maroondah City Church account (giving details below).

I'm asking support from ministry friends because this trip is not a pre-planned, funded trip by Alabaster Church. 10% of all of Alabaster Church's tithes and offerings go to missions, and this trip is not covered by our church's annual missions budget. In addition to this, I have dropped my days at Alabaster Church from 5 days a week to 3 days a week (i.e. part-time hours) to make room for the employment of other pastors, which means I really need the support and help of ministry friends and partners to say yes to this opportunity.

I would really appreciate your help! Any amount you donate will go completely towards this trip. I intend to be as transparent as possible regarding the expenses and funds received for this trip and intend to submit a financial report to you when I get back.

    We lead a growing and flourishing church across 3 locations. Our church's heart is to see the broken transformed by the grace of God. We passionately believe it’s good for the heart to be established in grace (Hebrews 13:9).

  • The Philippines

    We support transformational ministries in 3 cities in the Philippines. Our goal is to start a local church in Cebu City that will host a world-class church-planting school in the hope of releasing hundreds of leaders into unreached people groups.

  • Papua New Guinea

    We partner with a significant church movement in Papua New Guinea to help reach the lost, raise up leaders, and empower youth and young adults to be all that they are in Christ.

Family and Adoption.

We’re passionate about the potential of every local church and Christian family to impact the lives of vulnerable children and young people across Victoria. We believe it’s our Heavenly Father’s dream to release 5,000 Christian families across Victoria (Australia) to enter the foster care, permanent care, and adoption space with the same Spirit of Adoption that Christ adopted us with.

Let’s chat about your desire to make a difference in foster care & adoption.

Many Christians have experienced the promptings and leadings of the Holy Spirit to enter the adoption and foster care space, but don’t know where to start or what it entails. Sometimes, a conversation with someone who is in that space along with others who are also exploring what it means to foster care or adopt can be extremely helpful to get clarity and understanding.
